Compassionate response when crisis disrupts ordinary life.
BCBT seeks to stand with communities affected by disaster or severe hardship through timely, dignified, and accountable humanitarian service—working with local churches and trusted partners where they can respond responsibly.
Faithful purpose. Practical pathways.
BCBT brings Christian conviction, local relationships, responsible practice, and compassionate action into one ministry approach.
01 · Needs assessment
Identify who is affected, what is urgent, what others are already providing, and where support can add real value.
02 · Basic-needs support
Provide appropriately selected essentials such as food, safe water, hygiene items, clothing, or shelter materials when verified.
03 · Local coordination
Work with churches, community representatives, and suitable organizations to reduce duplication and improve reach.
04 · Protection & dignity
Use fair selection, safe distribution, privacy, safeguarding, and complaint pathways—especially for vulnerable people.
05 · Recovery support
Where capacity allows, help families reconnect with education, livelihoods, housing, health, or community support after crisis.
06 · Transparent stewardship
Document approved purchases, distribution, partners, locations, and verified results without exploiting hardship.
Relief must be based on verified need
Urgency does not remove the need for responsibility. BCBT’s response should define the affected location, target group, assistance package, delivery partners, safeguarding measures, budget, and reporting process before public fundraising.
Compassion without coercion
Emergency assistance must never be conditional on conversion, baptism, church attendance, public testimony, or participation in religious activities. Faith may motivate BCBT’s service, but help should be provided with respect, impartiality, and human dignity.
